Healius chairwoman exits as ‘no’ vote looms

Jenny Macdonald will step down as chairwoman of ailing pathology group Healius after failing to win sufficient proxy votes to secure her re-election at Tuesday’s annual meeting.

Ms Macdonald, who has been Healius’ chairwoman since mid-September last year, said she would relinquish the position at the meeting, with fellow director Kate McKenzie to become interim chairwoman.
