Childcare fee hikes loom, including double whammy

Childcare operators have baked in average fee rises of 3.3 per cent from July, according to an analyst survey of 40 operators across the sector.

Among those lifting fees is Australia’s biggest sharemarket listed operation G8 Education, which had already jacked up prices 6 per cent in January to boost margins.
