NSW regulator tips Manos as next Crown exit amid Barangaroo fallout

The NSW gaming regulator has earmarked Crown Resorts general counsel Mary Manos as the next official who must exit the troubled gaming giant before it is considered fit to run a casino in the state, and it will investigate further the independence of director John Poynton on the company’s board.

Crown general counsel Ms Manos told the Bergin inquiry she never thought to “get down on my hands and knees and look through printed bank statements” when in 2019 media reports exposed criminal activity in two Crown bank accounts. Joe Armao
