Former AustralianSuper boss Ian Silk has been handed the clean-up job at Crown Melbourne after being appointed chairman of the Southbank casino.

Crown Resorts on Thursday announced that Mr Silk – a director of DJW Advisory, the Victorian Legal Services Board and the Hawthorn Football Club – would also join the parent company’s board as a non-executive director.
