Cornering the casino money sharks

Crime around casinos is too big for state-based regulators - it calls for an effort on a national scale.

I don’t know if Patricia Bergin is a film buff, but her salutary report’s recommendation of a new casino regulator reminds me of a classic line from Jaws.

Eyeballing the marauding monster, the beleaguered police chief Brody, played by Roy Scheider, wryly concedes: “We’re gonna need a bigger boat.” The chief understood instantly that to catch a villain you need the right tools.
