The chairman of Bally’s Corporation, the new controlling shareholder at casino operator Star Entertainment, will fly into the country this week as he finalises a multimillion-dollar deal to take control of the group.

Soo Kim’s arrival in Australia coincides with that of Star’s two other big international backers – Hong Kong’s Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and Far East Consortium – who are here as they prepare to become the owners of the company’s new Brisbane complex, Queen’s Wharf.
