Aristocrat sells fantasy mobile games publisher for $1.2b

Aristocrat Leisure has sold mobile gaming business Plarium Global for $US820 million ($1.2 billion) as it returns its focus to making money from poker machines and casino-style online games.

Swedish mobile gaming company Modern Times Group has bought the owner of the popular role-playing game RAID: Shadow Legends for an upfront $US620 million. Aristocrat could receive a further $US200 million from the deal subject to it meeting future financial targets.
