The rise of the virtual global worker will usher in another wave of disruption in the local economy, says a report by Deloitte Access Economics and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Based on a survey of 1400 Australian workers, the Future of Work report claims locals will face increased competition from overseas talent, bringing downward pressure on wages to unprecedented levels.
