Castle Rock Global Capital was a haven of rosy returns for an enclave of
wealthy friends and family on Sydney’s northern beaches until the death this year of their financial wizard and investment manager, David Hunter Campbell.

But many tears turned swiftly to rage when investor account balances, thought to be bulging with up to $26 million from foreign exchange trading, turned out to be virtually empty.
