Suncorp spruiks its green credentials

Suncorp has moved to quell environmental lobbying at its annual general meetings, even though shareholders have largely rejected a green-linked vote.

The AGM for the insurance banking giant went ahead on Thursday with green activists, including lobby group Market Forces, intensifying pressure. That was despite objections that meetings were being hijacked about fossil-fuel issues.
