Suncorp Group is confident that giving its customers a little something for free online will help it sell more financial products and services.
That is one leg of the strategy to break down traditional silos at the banking and insurance group to create a "networked digital marketplace", making it easier for the group's 14 brands, which include insurers AAMI, GIO and Apia, to cross-sell to each other's customers.
