Transurban chief executive Michelle Jablko says becoming the centre of a media stoush about sexism in 2016 was “pretty surreal”, but it inspired her to succeed and prove her critics wrong.

After getting her prior role as chief financial officer of ANZ in 2016, Ms Jablko was the subject of a savage assessment from high-profile stockbroker Angus Aitken.
