ANZ digs in over 'sexism' claim following Angus Aitken exit

ANZ has doubled down on its swipe at a controversial piece of commentary as "sexist" following the departure of the note's author, the high-profile trader Angus Aitken from boutique Sydney firm Bell Potter.

Mr Aitken, who savaged the appointment of Greenhill & Co's Michelle Jablko to chief financial officer at ANZ, is understood to be disappointed to leave. but is not backing away from the substance of his criticism. His departure was revealed by Street Talk on Thursday morning.
