Three women will lead National Australia Bank’s customer-facing divisions under new chief executive Andrew Irvine, who has reshuffled the management deck chairs on Wednesday morning, including appointing Rachel Slade to run its flagship business bank.

Ms Slade – who was overlooked by NAB’s board when Mr Irvine was favoured to replace Ross McEwan as CEO from this month – will become group executive for business and private banking from the end of the April.
