New AMP chief executive Alexis George will use her “last executive job” to rebuild the battered 172-year-old wealth company so that its customers, employees and shareholders can “feel proud to be associated with this brand”.
Reviving trust in the once-great AMP icon has been at the forefront of Ms George’s mind since she took leave from her previous post as deputy chief executive at ANZ Banking Group.
