Mortgage brokers are increasingly targeting a slice of the lending market that was once entirely the domain of the big four banks – writing business loans.

Mortgage Finance Association of Australia statistics show that the number of brokers writing mortgages as well as commercial loans increased 60 per cent to 5864 as of March 2023, up from 3688 in March 2018.
