Jarden pitches a new service for big emitters: carbon trading

Jarden is exporting its renewables trading platform to Australia, in a bet that demand for carbon credits will grow as companies seek to deliver on their net-zero ambitions.
The investment bank has launched commtrade, a platform that facilitates the buying and selling of renewable energy certificates and carbon credits for its corporate clients, which rely on these permits to offset their own emissions.
