It took less than a day for SocietyOne’s 65 Sydney-based staff to leave its George Street office and start working from home, as soon as the personal lender made the call in March to decamp from the central business district.

But it's been much slower going trying to lure them back into the city, even though community transmission of the virus in NSW is negligible.
