Housing supply crunch brings questions about migration: NAB’s McEwan

Australia must cut its immigration intake unless governments can solve the nation’s burgeoning housing crisis and get more homes built, outgoing National Australia Bank chief executive Ross McEwan says.
Mr McEwan, in his final public appearance as CEO before retiring on April 2, said building approvals had to “be well over 200,000” to sustain current immigration numbers.
