The Federal Court has given missing fraudster Melissa Caddick’s family six weeks to stake their claims over the various properties she allegedly purchased with stolen funds, after they pushed back on liquidators selling the homes to compensate her victims.
Justice Brigitte Markovic told the swindler’s parents, brother and husband that they needed to outline to the court and receivers why they had rights over Ms Caddick’s $6.3 million Dover Heights mansion and $2.5 million Edgecliff penthouse, or risk their sale.
