Melissa Caddick’s parents face uncertainty over Edgecliff home

The parents of missing fraudster Melissa Caddick face a battle over their Edgecliff home and the nearly $1.2 million they gave their daughter for a mortgage she had on the property but was instead used to fund her lavish lifestyle, including a diamond ring.

Ms Caddick’s parents – Ted and Barbara Grimley – reside in the property and gave her nearly $1.2 million to pay down the mortgage after selling their own home in 2017. However, as with other people who gave Ms Caddick money, the cash her parents paid to her was used to fund her lavish lifestyle, not to pay down the mortgage.
