Douglass to return to Magellan in consulting role

Hamish Douglass, the co-founder of Magellan, will return to the investment firm in a consultancy role and incoming chief executive David George has brought his commencement date forward by a month.
Mr Douglass was the chairman and chief investment officer until February when he took indefinite medical leave after a period of personal turmoil and the announced separation from his wife Alexandra.
