Don’t switch super funds until reckoning in unlisted assets is over

It’s been a long time since retail superannuation funds have been able to stick it to industry funds on anything, let alone returns.

But old-school wealth managers such as AMP and Colonial First State have this year declared returns for customers in their MySuper products north of 11 per cent, while the king of industry funds, AustralianSuper with $335 billion, delivered a more modest 8.5 per cent.
