Credit Suisse ordered to pay Georgian tycoon $1.4b
Singapore | A Singapore judge ordered Credit Suisse to pay billionaire and former Georgian prime minister Bidzina Ivanishvili what may be hundreds of millions of dollars, in yet another blow for the bank in the long-running legal saga.
A Singapore-based Credit Suisse subsidiary breached its duty in failing to safeguard the accounts of Mr Ivanishvili, Georgia’s richest man, according to a judgment posted on Friday.
