BGH targets PwC dealmakers for new M&A advisory

BGH Capital is in the final stages of funding a mergers and acquisitions advisory business after poaching more than a dozen of PwC’s top dealmakers in a major blow to the consulting firm’s turnaround efforts.

The move is understood to involve Rob Silverwood, a senior PwC partner who oversees its consulting and deals business. He will likely lead the new company. Simon Harle, BGH Capital’s managing partner, is overseeing the transaction for the Melbourne-headquartered private equity firm.
