Bendigo Bank CEO says booming regions underpin $500m profit
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank chief executive Marnie Baker says regional Australia is still booming after the bank recorded its first full-year cash profit above $500 million, but warned tight housing supply was creating challenges.
“Bendigo is a really good example of what we’re seeing right across the country and especially in the regional cities that are within an hour to two hours from the main capitals,” Ms Baker said.
