The blockbuster criminal cartel case brought by the ACCC against several huge banks and some of their senior executives continued on Wednesday as a sophisticated game of snakes and ladders in the Federal Court.

The frustration of Justice Michael Wigney over the prosecution case was evident in an 81-page judgment, where he declared it would not be unfair to describe the situation around the indictment as a complete schemozzle.
