Fears are rising that the eurozone could face a fresh debt crisis, as surging bond yields threaten to disrupt the fragile economic equilibrium the region has enjoyed for most of the past decade.

The sell-off in global bond markets in the past few weeks, has left many debt-laden eurozone countries facing the highest borrowing costs in more than a decade.
