The Australian chief executive of UK fusion energy developer Tokamak Energy says investors around the world are stepping up their allocation to the space amid concern they’ll miss “the next Google” in the race among emerging green technologies.

On a visit to his hometown of Perth, Tokamak CEO Chris Kelsall added that the UK and US governments were also showing increased interest in the zero emissions energy technology as the war in Ukraine emphasised “that energy security is national security”.
