Still all carrots, no sticks for carbon
The latest climate and energy road map expands direct action investment for abatement technologies, but the government remains wary.

It should feel like we are charting a course for the next 30 years, not watching a new episode of Neighbours.
Thursday's release of a Discussion Paper for the Morrison Government’s centrepiece Technology Investment Roadmap followed the expert panel review of the Emissions Reduction Fund. Between them they provide a useful compass bearing for how the Government plans to re-set direction on national climate policy.
