Outspoken Energy Security Board chairwoman Kerry Schott has been reappointed for another 12 months to help land the redesign of the National Electricity Market.

But the long-term future of the ESB, the powerful body given the task of driving energy reforms over the past three years, is still up in the air after the 2025 market redesign is completed.
