Origin makes further $175m payment for wind farm, as LNG revenues slump

Origin Energy’s revenues from its part-owned natural gas venture, Australian Pacific LNG, slid 11 per cent in the recent quarter, while the group revealed it had taken a step closer to building one of NSW’s biggest wind farm projects, Yanco Delta, with a further $175 million payment.

The Yanco Delta wind farm development is in one of NSW’s renewable energy zones and includes a 1.5 gigawatt wind farm and an 800 megawatt-hour battery.
