‘Hysterical abuse’: Andrews defies Kennett’s ‘socialist’ tag

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has hit back over criticism from Jeff Kennett, saying he will not “respond to the sort of hysterical abuse” that the former premier has put in the newspaper.

Mr Kennett, who privatised the State Electricity Commission during the 1990s, blasted Mr Andrews over his energy plan, labelling him a dangerous socialist who will return Victoria to a “rust bucket state”.
