ASIC concerns secure McAleese board seats for Havenfresh

McAleese chief executive Mark Rowsthorn​ and chairman Don Telford have resigned as directors of the collapsed trucking group, with administrators planning to appoint directors from shareholder Havenfresh to address concerns raised by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Before McAleese went into administration in late August, Havenfresh had requested an extraordinary general meeting to propose removing most of the company's directors – including Mr Rowsthorn and Mr Telford – and adding Keith Price and Maurice Smith to the board.
