Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has accused the Albanese government of “playing with a loaded gun” on the risk of foot and mouth disease, as the Coalition pushes Labor to close the international border to Indonesia.
Although Australia has access to vaccines for foot and mouth disease, Agriculture Minister Murray Watt cautioned: “We can’t run around and vaccinate our Australian livestock now.”
