Competition red flags for Olam in battle for Namoi Cotton

The Namoi Cotton share price plunged after a takeover bid from Singapore-based Olam registered three red lights with the competition regulator, and NSW Farmers said its members had concerns about any change of control.
Namoi stock fell almost 8 per cent to 64¢ in trading on Thursday before recovering to close 4.3 per cent down at 66.5¢.
