Wisdom of Solomon (and Mark) delivers Premier’s profit jump

Premier Investment’s profit upgrade is a reminder that there’s no substitute for experience and planning.

The retail conglomerate, run by billionaire chairman Solomon Lew and chief executive Mark McInnes, announced on Friday that full-year earnings before interest and tax in the group’s retail division, which includes Peter Alexander, Just Jeans, Portmans and Smiggle, are on track to come in between $340 million and $360 million.
