Wesfarmers back on the road to electric car future

Wesfarmers has held its nerve on its big lithium project, even as sentiment around the sector has gyrated wildly. 

They say that with age comes wisdom. The latest major investment by 106-year-old grand old conglomerate Wesfarmers is a case in point.

Since Wesfarmers chief executive Rob Scott first announced in May 2019 that it was buying lithium mining hopeful Kidman Resources and its Mount Holland project, sentiment around lithium has oscillated wildly.
