Mobility as a service drives Carsales innovation

Australia's largest online automotive, motorcycle and marine classifieds business is moving into mobility as a service – a segment Carsales says will have revenue of $750 billion globally by 2030.

When Carsales chief executive Cameron McIntyre looked into his crystal ball three years ago he could see the opportunity for the application of innovative technology to the megatrends in mobility.

"We're obviously a technology company and we do consider ourselves to be innovative, and marketplaces have traditionally been what we do well," he says.
