Australia’s top chief executives say risks associated with cybersecurity threats and the ageing population are being ignored or underplayed and need to be addressed to ensure the country’s long-term prosperity.

CEOs from across the banking, technology, property and telecommunications sectors nominated cybersecurity as the No. 1 risk or trend not getting the attention it deserves, despite the rising number of high-profile breaches at companies including Optus and Medibank Private.
