Retailers have dismissed fears Amazon's new retail offer will crimp Christmas sales, saying millions of Australian consumers are already spending on the e-commerce giant's overseas sites.
Nielsen data released on Thursday showed that Amazon is the most popular mass merchandise retailer for Australian consumers after Woolworths and ahead of Coles.
