Google, Facebook distorting advertising markets, ACCC told

Health insurer Medibank Private says Google's dominance of digital advertising has led to ever-escalating costs and an ever-decreasing return on investment.

In one of 57 submissions to the Australia Competition and Consumer Commission's Digital Platforms inquiry, Medibank said there were "no realistic alternatives" for advertisers in the digital world.
