Dramatic video moments after the horror crash in Urrbrae has emerged, showing witnesses running and yelling after a third car involved in the crash. Two women died in the incident, including high ranking SAPOL officer Joanne Shanahan, and St Peters woman Tania McNeill.

A video of dramatic scenes just moments after the horror crash in Urrbrae has emerged, showing witnesses expressing anger towards the driver involved in the three-car smash that occured on Saturday. The crash on Fullarton Rd and Cross Rd claimed the lives of two women, including high-ranking SA Police officer, Detective Chief Superintendent Joanne Shanahan. The other woman who died was 53-year-old St Peters woman, Tania McNeill.
The video shows witnesses running south on Cross Rd moments after the crash, yelling out to the driver of a VW ute involved in the crash.
The witnesses were displaying particular signs of anguish, yelling “Call zero zero zero please, you are a f**king idiot mate”.
Watched by Police Commissioner Grant Stevens, investigators examined the scene of the high-speed collision at the intersection of Cross Rd and Fullarton Rd just after 1.30pm.
Chief-Supt Shanahan, 55, who was a passenger in a Holden SUV, and a 53-year-old Ms McNeil who driving a silver BMW, died at the scene.
The male driver of the Holden SUV was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 20-year-old man who was driving a VW ute sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Superintendent Craig Wall described the high-speed crash as tragic and the scene horrific.

“As you can imagine, this is an absolutely tragic set of circumstances for everyone involved,” he said.
“It’s tragic for not only the families but also the emergency services attending here.”
Emergency services, including police, SA Ambulance paramedics, a Metropolitan Fire Service HAZMAT response team and State Emergency Service crews, were all called to the incident amid reports of unknown chemicals being spilt from a truck.
Traffic was blocked in all directions and the road remained closed on Saturday night.
Resident Janine Dunn lives just metres away from the crash and was at home when it unfolded.
Ms Dunn said she felt her house shake when one of the vehicles crashed into her front brick fence and hit a drain pipe on the ground floor of the property.
“It was surreal, ” said Ms Dunn, who was still in shock.
“The car was airborne … it was in slow motion twisting in the air.”
Ms Dunn said she saw one car flip so high it damaged a street light.
Nasim Akhter lives in the bottom unit of the same property and was sitting by the window when the crash happened.
“It was like a car was jumping,” Mr Akhter said.
“It was just a disaster. It was a bad experience.”
