A 26-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries following an alleged assault on North Tce near the National War Memorial on Friday morning.
Police and paramedics were called to North Tce, near Kintore Ave, after reports of an assault just after 1am on Friday.
The 26-year-old victim suffered a laceration to his leg and was taken to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, a 27-year-old woman from the state’s far north, was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault causing harm.
She was refused bail by police and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later on Friday.
Police say the two people involved are known to each other.
An investigation is continuing.
