Woman arrested after breaking into a football club in Port Augusta West

A woman has been arrested after breaking into a football club but police suspect her two accomplices have escaped justice.

Police arrested a woman after she had allegedly broke into a Port Augusta West football club, it is suspected another two accomplices are still at large.

On Friday, about 10.30pm police were called to Gardiner Avenue’s football club after receiving a phone call reporting a suspected break-in.

Patrols attended the scene and located a woman hiding in the bushes nearby.

It is believed another two suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The 32-year-old woman, from Port Augusta West, was charged with criminal trespass and after being refused bail she is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, March 4.
