Police arrested two people believed to have broke-into the Burnside Post Office
A man and a young woman have been arrested after they allegedly stole from a popular eastern suburbs post office.

A man who allegedly broke-into the popular Burnside Post Office this morning has been dramatically arrested after police “pounced” on him when he attempted to escape.
Just after 3am, police patrols were called to the Glynburn Rd business after the Post Office alarms were activated.
Eastern District patrols arrived on scene and cordoned the area.
A man was seen running from the building and patrols jumped on him and placed him under arrest.
Police dog Chaos was then called in to assist with further investigations as it was believed a second person may have fled before police arrived.
The search located a 19-year-old woman in a vehicle parked on High St in possession of property suspected to have been stolen.
Both have been arrested.
The 38-year-old Gilberton man has been charged with serious criminal trespass, hinder police, theft, going equipped and stating false personal details.
He was also wanted on a number of outstanding matters
He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
The woman, meanwhile, has been arrested and is expected to be charged with unlawful possession.
Crime Scene Investigators will attend the scene this morning to gather forensic evidence.
