Serious injuries after crash at Penola involving four people
A two car collision in the state’s South-East has left four people in hospital.

Four people have been rushed to hospital after a serious crash at Penola in the state’s South-East.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Riddoch Highway and Rymill Rd after reports of a two-car crash about 4.10pm on Friday.
The driver, a 24-year-old Mount Barker man and sole occupant of a Mitsubishi Pajero, was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries.
The second car involved in the incident was a Subaru Forester with three occupants – the driver, a 42-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman and a child.
All occupants of the Subaru were from Mount Barker.
They were also taken to hospital for treatment, however, their injuries were not considered to be life-threatening with the child suffering minor injuries.
All roads have been reopened.
It comes after a double-fatal crash at the weekend at Willalooka, also on the Riddoch Highway that killed a Victorian couple.
James Bryson, of Padthaway, was charged over the crash.
