A father of five is among 29 new names added this year to an extensive list of the 750 South Australians deemed too dangerous to own a firearm.
The Firearms Prohibition Order list, which includes bikies and notorious criminals, has increased from 721 people at the same time last year, and 613 in 2022.
People can be added to the list, which is released by the South Australian Police, if they are found to be associated with organised crime, pose a threat to the community, or have a gang association.

New people added this year include father-of-five Matthew James Brady, who was jailed in February, after pleading guilty to 13 charges relating to firearms and other weapons.
Brady was arrested after the Australian Border Force uncovered weapons at his workplace and Roxby Downs Home, including 15 long arm firearms, silences and a sawn off shotgun.
Violent offender Matthew Timothy Bain, who once savagely bashed a train passenger in an unprovoked attack, has also been listed this year as too dangerous to own a gun.
He has been joined by Brett Jamie Harradine, who was previously charged with firearms offences after allegedly fashioning a spud gun into an illegal firearm.
At the time, police alleged Harradine had “numerous” homemade firearms, parts, mechanisms, ammunition and tools used to make guns at his Smithfield house.
Leonard Wilkins has also been added to the list this year after he took responsibility for a gun and drugs being found during a raid at the home of his OnlyFans lover, Alice Mabel Weekes.
He pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and possessing a firearm without a licence.
SEARCH THE LIST: SA BIKIES BANNED FROM OWNING GUNS
The 750 identities compiled on the list date back to 2009, with names usually removed only when they die.
Long serving Hells Angels North Crew bikie Eugene Osenkowski, who in 2022 was the oldest person on the state’s gun ban list, has been removed after his death in May at 79 years of age.
Not all those on the list have committed a crime but are considered a danger to the community with a gun.
People can also be deemed not a fit and proper person to possess a firearm because of gang association, without posing an immediate threat. They can also be banned if they have stored guns incorrectly, are subject of an intervention order or been found guilty of an offence involving threats of violence or fraud or deception for the purpose of obtaining a gun licence or permit.
