Two men have been injured after an early-morning crash on Good Friday as a major highway reopens following a horror crash.
Emergency services responded to a single-car crash after a Holden sedan hit a tree around 2.15am on Friday, April 18, on Schuller Rd in Blewitt Springs.
The driver, a 21-year-old man from McLaren Flat, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
SA Police said his injuries are not considered life threatening at this time.
The sedan’s passenger, a 42-year-old man from Blewitt Springs, sustained minor injuries.
Major crash investigators went to the scene to investigate.
Schuller Rd remains closed but is expected to be open again early on Friday.
The crash comes after a truck driver tragically died following a T-bone crash on the Port Wakefield Hwy early on Thursday morning.
Police confirmed the Port Wakefield Hwy was fully reopened for travel on Friday morning.
