Mount Gambier driver fined after colliding with motorcyclist

A young motorcyclist has been injured and a driver fined after a car and motorcycle collided on a Mount Gambier highway on Tuesday night.
Around 8:30pm police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Jubilee Highway East and Crouch Street North after receiving reports of a two-vehicle crash.
A Holden station wagon and a Kawasaki motorcycle had collided at the intersection.
The motorcyclist, an 18-year-old Mount Gambier man, was taken to the local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 23-year-old Mount Gambier woman, was not injured in the crash and was issued with an expiation notice for failing to give way.
